BŌc-hord Bespoke Library Design
Origins
An architect by trade, a bibliophile by compulsion, and a treasure hunter by nature, founder Heather Michelle established Boc-hord Bespoke Library Design as marriage of passions.
"Collections are intensely personal, often compulsive, and always revelatory. The spaces they are housed in should be, as well."
Today, we work to create inspired libraries through the elevated design of spaces built to showcase and safeguard works of literary art and memorabilia. We chose our clients as carefully as they choose us, seeking to foster long-term relationships focused on ongoing curation and acquisitions. Our lifelong commitment includes cataloging and preservation of our clients' most precious collections. We believe that a library is more than a hoard of books; it is a curated legacy of knowledge and beauty.
ARCHITECTURAL EXCELLENCE
We integrate architectural expertise with artisanal craftsmanship to create bespoke spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful. Every library we design is a testament to the enduring power of literature and the precision of custom construction.
